World Am in March?
Not quite, but it is the next best thing. Throughout the past 32 years, over 70,000 people have come to Myrtle Beach, SC the week before Labor Day to play in the World’s Largest amateur golf tournament, the Myrtle Beach World Amateur. Now, for the first time, you can enjoy the same format over 54 holes at the beginning of March!
The newly minted Myrtle Beach March Championship, heading into its second year, will be a 3 day individual, net stroke play golf tournament played on great Grand Strand layouts. Flights will be determined by USGA Handicap index to give everyone a chance to win, and there will be over $10,000 in prizes handed out to top finishers in each flight and on-course contest winners.
In addition to the golf, there will be a few off-course functions to give everyone time to mingle, meet some new friends or catch up with ones you’ve met throughout the years in another Myrtle Beach event.
